OK Health Services Ltd provides an extensive range of services:

Pre-employment medicals:

  • Assess your potential employees’ fitness for the job. Monitoring can include:
    • Drug tests, hearing tests (audiometry), lung function tests (spirometry), vision screening (including colour vision checks), muscular skeletal assessments (bones and joints), general health questionnaires, skin assessment, blood screening and blood pressure checks.

 

Annual health monitoring:

  • We’ll check the ongoing health of your employees – this is essential business practice if your employees are exposed to hazards in the workplace (e.g. loud noise, chemicals, outdoor work, machinery). Monitoring can include:
    • Hearing tests, lung function tests, vision checks, musculoskeletal assessments, sun awareness education, biological monitoring (assessing exposure to elements such as lead, chemicals and solvents) and solvent questionnaire

 

Workplace assessments:

  • Review the ergonomics workstations and provide education on Discomfort, Pain and Injury (DPI, formerly known as OOS) and its prevention.

 

Workplace drug testing:

  • We provide collection for ESR drug tests and instant drug screening tests.

 

General health checks:

  • Ensure you have a healthy workplace – and a valued workforce – by providing you and your employees with a personal warrant of fitness.

 

Vaccinations:

  • We can vaccinate your staff against influenza, hepatitis A and B, tetanus and typhoid.

 

Education courses:

  • A range of education programmes including manual handling, ergonomics, healthy lifestyles and our popular course, “Train the Trainer” – all of which can be delivered onsite at your workplace.

 

Regular On-site Visits:

  • One of our registered nurses can visits your site weekly, fortnightly, or monthly.

We will work with you to determine the best service for your organisation’s needs and the best delivery method – either onsite or offsite at our Petone headquarters. You will also be given a detailed report on the results of the tests. This report will provide you with recommendations to help you improve the health and safety in your workplace.
